MUAY THAI

Sharks Muay Thai's Muay Thai program was developed by our very own head coach, Jake through a decade long of competition and international coaching experience. Sharks Muay Thai combines lethal Muay Thai kicks, knees, elbows, clinching with sophisticated punches of Western Boxing and dominant Dutch Kickboxing combinations to form a perfect marriage between the world's top 3 striking disciplines. With no mandatory sparring in our classes, world-class Muay Thai training is now available for those who wish to just challenge themselves on a daily basis.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU (BJJ)

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a self-defence martial art based on grappling and submission holds. It focuses on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling, gaining a dominant position and using a number of techniques to force him/her into submission via joint locks or chokeholds. Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) program is designed for both self-defense and competition. In collaboration with Affinity Mixed Martial Arts, our BJJ program is currently headed by Mohd Fouzein 'The Underdog', a Purple Belt in BJJ and Professional MMA fighter/pioneer.

COMBAT MET-CON

Combat Met-Con (short for Metabolic Conditioning) is our signature fitness program, designed specifically for combat sports. Whether your goal is to lose weight or to improve sport & athletic performance, Combat Met-Con can get you the results you desire by using functional equipment such as kettlebells, dumbbells, battle ropes, plyo boxes and more. Combat Met-Con is designed to exert your cardiovascular system by increasing your heart rate which will help improve your overall level of fitness. We tailor every workout towards you and will modify exercises to your level.  

ANTI-SOCIAL MUAY THAI

Anti-Social Muay Thai is our very own version of a bagwork class. Partnered padwork and technical drilling may not be everyone's cup of tea, and we totally understand! The only difference between Anti-Social Muay Thai and our regular Muay Thai program is all the focus will be on you and you alone! You will be assigned to your own heavy bag station, equipped with your own set of training equipment such as kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands, medicine balls etc. Not sure which Muay Thai program suits you better, why not try them both?

WESTERN BOXING

Also known as “The Sweet Science”, our Western Boxing program is designed to help you improve your offensive and defensive punching skills through technical drilling so you don't have to worry about any black eye or broken nose! Learn the proper ways to hit a heavy bag in our smart and unique approach to BoxingOur modern and innovative Western Boxing program will better your Muay Thai, MMA and Kickboxing game. Whether you are a fighter or simply just a fitness fanatic, we guarantee our Western Boxing program is perfect for you!

SHARK TANK SPARRING

Learn Muay Thai with us at Sharks Muay Thai without having to worry about a black eye or broken nose. We don't force our members into sparring, ever, if that's not what they want. Sparring is 100% voluntary here! We understand some of you learn Muay Thai for the fitness aspect of the sport. But.. for those who wish to learn how to fight, our Shark Tank Sparring program is perfect for you! Learn our secret tips and tricks which have helped our fight team stay on top of the foodchain in regional competition while sparring alongside our professional fighters.
